He supported the election of Clint Presley as SBC President and the removal of FBC Alexandria for their views on female pastors, but was disappointed by the failure of the Law Amendment. The Coop-Group report was well received, but there was a push to abolish the ERLC. The author found the resolutions unnecessary and highlighted the fellowship and family experience as the highlights of the event.
